Its time for the seasons to change here…time to go from the snowy season to the rainy season….I was thinking today… I think I hate cooking in the rain more then in the snow….time for a poll….

Rain is one thing, But a thunderstorm? We don't mess around with Lightening.
Ask SS, I think he got struck a bunch a times. Hurts like hell,
Huh GT?

I have never had a direct hit from lightning, but it hit a few feet away 3 times.. They call me "powder"...But I like cooking in the rain. Nothing like the smell of smoking meat in the rain. I just sit in the patio and watch it and relax to some nice music...

In my opinion, if it's snowing, it's time to switch gears to a different cooking style.

If it's raining I can wait a day or pitch an easy up.

It's the wind I hate the most.

This would normally be a hard question for me having never cooked in snow..... UNTIL this year when I was exiled to Wyoming for a startup and actually cooked in snow.

But I would have to say that sideways snow is better than sideways rain any day! Even my patio can't stop the sideways rain!

Observations from an I-10 guy:
1.When its cold there is no need to go find your oven mits.
2.You don't worry too much about the 40 to 140 thing.
3.If you drop a wing in the snow, no big deal(unless you wrote your name there earlier)
4.You actually like it with the lid open.
5.There is usually not too many people standing over your shoulder, they are all inside pearing out the window.
6. Anything you cook is better than something out of a box done in the oven
7. No sweat!
8. COLD BEER!!!
9. Fricking froze beer!!!
10. All the girls have permanant high beams on.
