Pecan tree vs high winds at the inlaws house

Bad for them .......... Good for me.

I would be really happy about this if only I had a stick burner instead of a WSM and a UDS.
 
Sorry your in-laws lost such a nice tree, but I know you'll make the best of it. My sister-in-law has 4 or 5 pecan trees that look like they're a hundred years old, and they ain't going nowhere. And they never trim them, so I get nothing. :|
