That website is a good resource. I'm always on a limited budget - I've wanted a food processor for years, but now I'm thinking a stand mixer would be more useful. What do you think would be best value for money?

depends on what you like to cook. If you bake a lot then the mixer is likely the better choice. For me its the food processor. I believe Kitchen Aid makes one as well. for me I wanted the mixer for years and years and I wanted the pasta maker attachment. I cant eat pasta any longer or at least not enough to actually make my own. LOL so now i want the food processor as I do a lot of cooking and want to make pesto and chop up veggies. and other neet stuff.
