I just got it TODAY! I washed it with boiling water then seasoned it 4 times (with Blackstone seasoning) before cooking eggs on it, then pancakes (they stuck a bit but the seasoning's probably not there yet, also I forgot to oil the griddle before adding the pancakes!) then eggs again. How does it look so far? I'm wondering if the seasoning is supposed to look this patchy and pancake sized 😂 . . . Also it kind of has white pills all over the surface, though that could be residue from the oiled paper towels I wipe it down with after cooking. I use either crisco or vegetable oil. It's a 17 in!

You are going to have a darker area right above the burner, especially with just one burner.

Like I mentioned in your other thread about this griddle, I am not familiar with a powder coated steel surface, but it seems reasonable that it will get better with more use, especially with fatty foods. Cook some bacon on it a few times.
