Do you send your good chef knives to professionals to sharpen them?

For most of the year, I sharpen and hone myself.
About once a year, my mobile sharpener guy will come over and do his thing. We used him for all the years I was in the professional kitchen - he would come through in his van and spend all afternoon sharpening every chef’s knife set, asking each person about any particular personal preference.
Since my semi-retirement, he still comes over and does my chef knife, cleaver and paring knife annually.
