I've pretty much decided that I'm going to replace my current grill with a Weber 310 (thanks for all the suggestions!) but not today. I'm looking for either the green or copper finish and couldn't find any in stock nearby. I guess I can wait a few more days. :)

Meanwhile, it's Saturday night which means it's steak time 8) . These will be going on the grill shortly. Nothing complicated here; kosher salt, a little bit of crushed red pepper, minced garlic (I put the freeze dried stuff in a pepper mill), lots of fresh ground black pepper and olive oil.

Somewhere I have a bottle of Shiraz to go with these...

...and on the grill. Had a bit of a flare up on the right hand side that charred the fat on one :x . Grrr. Kind of embarrassing when that happens. Just on the surface, though.

I like the looks of the one on the right as well. That's the reason Mel's Char Palace is so popular.

thanks guys :). They turned out pretty well all things considered. The bottle of Penfold's Bin 2 didn't hurt either...
