Rum-Pecan Cream Pie

Crust:
1 c. crushed graham crackers
3 Tbsp. melted butter

Mix; pat in pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes.

Filling:
3/4 c.(1 1/2 sticks) butter
3 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
4 large egg yolks
2 Tbsp. Rum
2 1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. pecans, chopped

Cream butter until light. Add powdered sugar; mix well.
Gradually mix in egg yolks, rum, vanilla and salt; mix well.
Fold in pecans; pour into crust and chill until firm. Cover
with whipped cream topping. Garnish with more pecans.

This has been one of my families favorite for special occasions. thanks for thinking of us and sharing. My one brother always wants more pecans. The rum truly makes the flavor with dab of whipped cream. Hope you all enjoy. I know we will. Thanks
