Something I saw today on PBS was a house for bees and butterflies, on Woodsmith Shop, Season 18, episode 5. This looked interesting, and I thought that anyone else that likes woodworking and gardening might find it interesting. I made that bee house a few years ago, with the holes, but I had never seen something like this, with vertical slots, for butterflies. Here's a link - the only way to see it is if you are signed in, down at the bottom, and the last two seasons are free (at least last time I downloaded any).

I have seen Butterfly Houses with the vertical slots for their wings. Don't remember where, when or for what but always thought they were a "cool" addition to a butterfly flower garden.

Definitely going to check it out. With the outdoor gardening season coming too an end, and having cleaned up my workshop in the garage, Im looking for some winter projects. Last year I made a bunch of birdhouses , which have turned into squirrel houses ( not by choice). I actually bought one of those multi pollinator houses but as nice as as it looked, it was built like crap and the whole thing fell apart.
