Hi there guys.

After getting really disappointment with my Classic Pro KitchenAid mixer, which broke down after less than a year, I'm looking to replace it with a different model.

Problem is that there are so many of them and I don't know what to choose. Also, I don't know how to really interpret the online rating of various mixers, as the one I had in the past usually has very high rating.

So I'm a bit confused and would like to hear your opinions.

I'm a baker in heat, usually using my mixer at least twice a week. I need my future mixer to be able to make all kinds of dough - never more than 0.5kg/batch.

I know there is an ongoing debate on 600 Pro series vs. Artisan, but I don't know where to start when deciding what will work best for me. They both look similar to me.

Thanks for your help.

Gingi.

I'm pretty happy with this one. Mixes a 6 cup bread recipe with no complaints.

I guess it depends on how much you want to spend. These seem to have a good reputation but I haven't tried them out in person.

Thanks Forty. My max is $350, and I want to stick with KitchenAid as I have a gift card for that brand.
