Crunchy sesame crust, works with what?

The 1st experiment was slices of eggplant, dipped in eggs, then sesame w. a dash of minced garlic.
Almost no oil was needed for frying, with my non stick pan.
Of course that's something to repeat! 😃👍
The softness of eggplant works very well with the crunchy crust.
Now slices of cooked pumpkin. (In the photo). Not bad..
I might try everything.
What would you try with that crunchy crust?
 
What exactly are you looking to cook. The OP has mentioned both eggplant and pumpkin.
You also have to tell us what the disaster was. We can't suggest how to do something to avoid the disaster if we don't know what it is.
