made from scratch salt free bbq sauce. it is to die for.

1tbs cooking oil
one small onion, chopped
2 8 oz. cans salt free tomato sauce
1 /4 cup splenda brown
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1 tbs of dry mustard
juice of one lemon
1tsp. liquid smoke,
1tsp pwd garlic
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp. tabasco
3 pinchs of all spice,

sauté onion in oil, add rest of indg. and simmer for about 15 min. til thick. stir often. makes three cups. :chef:

when it cools i am going to put some in container with left over cooked chicken. let sit in fridge til dinner time. maybe put in lettuce wraps.

the sauce is super good, don't miss salt at all.

decided on a bbq sandwich using a large sesame seed bun. maybe i will sneak in a piece of provolone cheese, though it does have a bit of sodium
