Came across a nice little piece of pork shoulder on sale for $.99lb.

An amazing day we are having today! It's 70* winds about 10-15mph. Those ducks were around till it got dark...think they wanted some!

Rubbed up and ready to go. Those little pieces to the left and some of the think skin I cut from the top. Trying something different. Putting them right under the meat so the drippings go on them.

Came out fantastic! The fat in the pan didn't work. Didn't keep my hopes up but hey it was trying something different!

Sadly by the time it was done the sun had set and the breeze of the water was cold! It's May come on already lol
 
Fine looking hunk o hawg and a great price. Trying to figger out the cut of meat is driving me crazy:)
