    Prune Juice Cocktails (Really!)

I cannot stand prune juice - but I can eat dried pitted prunes!!! Yes, it's good for constipation which is the only reason why I eat them - but not everyday because it causes overkill when I go to the bathroom!! Does this happen with anybody else?

    Storing Shrimp Salad

I made a bowl of 'Shrimp Salad' last night; and there was a lot left so I stored it in the refrigerator - I forgot to put into a container or cover it with something. Will it still be OK to eat tonight?

    Reheating chicken drums!

I just got (today) a better pan and rack that fits on top of it; also have a silicone pad on the pan - tonight I will try to bake them. I prefer a crispy outside and a tender inside.

    Reheating chicken drums!

Whole Foods used to have these black cherry chicken wings (made fresh) and I loved them. So, I tried to figure out how to make them myself. First, I couldn't find the black cherry sauce they use to make them! What I would like to do is learn how to make small chicken wings/legs from scratch...

    Reheating chicken drums!

At Whole Foods, they used to have all kinds of cooked chicken wings (freshly made) which I got all the time. Now, they just have them packed in a plastic container, and they don't taste good to me. But, occasionally I still get them and started wondering if there was a better way to warm them...

    Reheating chicken drums!

I thought of that - but I didn't have any kind of rack that would fit (I looked); so I wound up buying a rack made for on top of the pan when I want the food to be raised! Thank you for the tip.

    Reheating chicken drums!

They are already cooked, refrigerated chicken drumsticks (from Whole Foods). Sometimes they have them fresh - but not lately - and I really dislike them after heating them up in the microwave. I tried one thing last night. I baked them in the 'toaster oven' for 15 minute or so - and they...

    Reheating chicken drums!

Hi there, I sometimes buy refrigerated 'chicken' drums that are already packaed cooked. I have always put them in the microwave for 30 sec to warm them. But they lose their flavor and dry out! I don't enjoy them. What is the best way to reheat these chicken drums? I have an oven and a...

Baking in my new GE Toaster Oven!

Hi all, I just wanted to thank everyone for their feedback. I'll finish this thread by saying - I figured out what I was doing wrong - !!! After preheating for about 5 minutes; I think what I was doing was 'opening' the door - stopping it and restarting it to bake; but I wasn't able to adjust...

Baking in my new GE Toaster Oven!

The item is not returnable. I got it at a great price at Bed N Bath (going out of business) I'll have to reread the manual to see if there are any clues.... I don't think it is 'overheating' - It preheats, I put in the food, it shuts down after 5 minutes. I press start again to cook it...

Baking in my new GE Toaster Oven!

It's probably better if I take photos. When I set it to bake - I have the option of how much time to bake and how many degrees. No matter what I set the timer to (in the beginning) after I put it in to bake (after preheating) - it just shuts off after 5 minutes. It doesn't seem to matter what...

Baking in my new GE Toaster Oven!

I get it that the bottom know has dual functions; but I still cannot change the minutes once it starts baking.

Baking in my new GE Toaster Oven!

Yes - in the very beginning their is. But once it's starts baking - after preheating - I can't change that number. So I set it to baking, 400 degrees. And the baking is set to 30 minutes. When it is finished 'preheating' I put the shrimp in the oven to cook; once I do that - I cannot change...
