Baked barley and chicken.
Toast 1 cup of pearled barley with some butter in a skillet until it begins to brown. 3-5 minutes.
Transfer to 13x9 and add 3 cups of chicken broth. Bake covered in 350 oven for 1 hour.
Remove from oven and add 3 more cups of chicken broth and 4 to 5 boneless skinless chicken breasts. Bake covered for one more hour or until chicken and barley are tender.
