Tuesday's Dinner - 9/13

Baked Chicken Quarter,
Cinnamon-Dusted Butternut squash Cubes (Air-Fryer)
Steamed Broccoli....

Kale, veggie rice w/lentil stew, a peach. Maybe some cantaloupe later.

Our produce basket arrived. We knew it would be arriving at supper time, so we had a very simple, but yummy supper. DH heated a can of Habitant French Canadian Pea Soup and I sliced some old cheddar and put it on slices of wholewheat miche. Then, I toasted it in the toaster oven. All the cheese was melty and bubbly, but it wasn't browning, so I put the toaster on broil for a couple of minutes. I guess the rack wasn't close enough to the element, because the cheese only got a tiny bit brown. Then we lost patience and had supper. The cheesy toast points were crispy and delicious, even if not brown.

Sending this old version of DC off in style...with leftovers! LOL! I had the last slice of pizza. Himself will work over the hot dogs.

Burgers tonight!

Six ounce burger on a sesame seed bun with mayo, provolone, genoa salami, red onion, tomato and pepperoncini slices.
