at Johnny Carino's was OK. The food wasn't 'fantastic', but it was reasonable - the chefs create dishes that are not normally on Johnny Carino's menu. We had 5 courses, with a wine pairing for each course. Everyone sat together on big tables and it was a lot of fun, meeting new people & tasting new wines. I think we'll probably go again next month - the price was outstanding, just $29 per person, and well worth it for the interesting & fun evening out we had.

HMMM!

$29 US, five wines to taste and enjoy", accompanying food, even if its not necessarily "haute cuisine", a "fun" evening of chat and meeting new froends and old...

Seems like a bit of a "bargain" to me!

Thanks for the heads up, Paint!

I found a JC's about 20 minutes from my house, but haven't gone there yet. I'll see if they do the same thing - how fun!
