Testing out my new dehydrator

I have just put my new Christmas present to its first use drying chives and thyme. I thought I would test it out first with something that does not take too long to dry.

It looks nice! You'll have fun with it. I still love my old, decrepit dehydrator that I've had for many years.

The proof will be in how strong your herbs will be after a quick dehydrating vs. air drying.

I'll be really interested to hear your tales with it when you get into jerky. I love jerky of all kinds, from beef, to fish, to poultry.
