I want to make mooncakes according to this recipe. Should it be safe to put in the mail for 2 days - not spoil?

In the middle of a cold winter - probably.

In the middle of a hot summer - no.

mooncakes or cheesecake - which is it? never heard of a combination of the two.

If put into a heavy Styrofoam shipping box with dry ice, it should be ok. I've had frozen product shipped to me that way in the summer, from Texas, and it arrived in U.P. MI still frozen.
