Made this the first time right after Dad died. Was just looking for something to push a bit of the sad away for a moment. It was so good and so comforting. It was also intensely chocolatey. Love at first sip.

Ingredients

2 cups water
1 cup whole milk
1 cup heavy cream.
2 each of the following: Lindt white chocolate truffle, Lindt dark chocolate truffle, Lindt extra dark chocolate truffle, Lindt caramel truffle
4 Lindt milk chocolate truffles
1/2 cup hot chocolate powder (I prefer the Nestle brand)

Directions
In a sauce pan over medium low, heat the water, milk, and heavy cream to heavily steaming but not yet bubbling. Turn down to low and add the truffles. Stir until they dissolve into the beverage. Add the hot chocolate powder. Stir to incorporate. Transfer to mugs.

I topped each mug with unsweetened, heavy whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon. The hubs added marshmallows to his, the roommate added marshmallow fluff to hers.

I do similar. I just put some sugar, cocoa, salt, and semisweet chocolate into whole milk, but this is definitely something I'll try soon!
