Hi all!

I'm a musician and a home chef.

I don't read music and I typically don't follow a recipe.

My family and others love my dishes.
 
Welcome! Following a recipe over and over, meh. Trying it once "by the book" and then adding, subtracting, making changes? Now that is cooking! Please share your successes, and warn us of failures with dishes.
 
Welcome to DC. Many of the members are quite expert cooks, some are professional chefs. I tell you this as your post for sweet & sour pork chops is pretty basic for most of us. Now don't take offense, as it's a good recipe. It's just that saying "You're welcome" after the recipe seems just a bit arrogant. We love to share recipes, discuss techniques, and engage in conversation, especialy where cooking is involved. So keep the recipes coming, and enjoy DC.
