While working on my shrimp binders, I came across this. One of Browne's delicious recipes.

Momma's Margarita Sauce

He says, "My mom loved margaritas, so one day when I was home from college I whipped this up for her to pour over grilled shrimp. There wasn't a drop left."

1/2 cup triple sec
1/2 cup lime juice
1/2 cup tequila
1/2 cup honey
1 pinch kosher salt

1. In a saucepan, combine all ingredients and cook over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.

2. Let the sauce cool, transfer it to a bottle and store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks. Brush it on grilled oysters, muscles, shrimp or clams, or slather it on chicken wings during the last few minutes of cooking for a festive and tangy sauce. Accompany it with margaritas, or course. Yield-2 cups
