When we were kids, Ma used to make this stuff, once a week, maybe twice.

Takes pasta, boil it up. Then mix in a can of Campbell's tomato soup. Then in another pan take a bunch of butter, the more the better, and fry it, the bubbles come up three times, on that third time when it is boiling its (_|_) off pour it all over the macaroni and soup and it should sizzle. Mix it quickly.

As kids we just ate it, but now on the rare occasions I get it I bury it in romano cheese.

I have never found anything this would go with or that would go with this.

Ideas ?

+ 1 for veggies.

Pickled fresh cukes and beets as a cold salad plate would be good.

How about carrot raisin salad - another throwback dish that might be fun.
