I am afraid of my food processor

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
It's a pain in the neck to clean my food processor. Still, I use it for carrot/apple/pineapple slaw, black bean brownies, or large amounts of cabbage for sauerkraut. I prefer to use it for 2 things at a time. Like the day I'm grinding up bread crumbs would be the day I also make carrot slaw.
 
Oh Blissful, my processor is completely dishwasher friendly, except for the base, of course.
After use, I rinse out any bits and pieces so they won't end up on the rest of the items in the dishwasher, and then pop them into the top shelf.
During canning season that poor thing has been in use for two or three hours!
