LOL, colour me dense. No, I'm afraid it wasn't, ;) hence my question.

As I've said before, ATK is pretty reliable for their recipes. I've rarely had a recipe from them that I didn't like.

Note - there have been one or two exceptions. Don't recall what the specific recipes were... but just to prove they're not infallible in that they will be perfect for all.

Took me ahile to be able to get around to watching the video. Goodness! I thought it was a recipe for a specific dish!
This is a technique - a very interesting technique but nevertheless - a technique.

Yes, I do this! I used to just fry my veggies with oil, but a friend told me water was much healthier and more efficient. And it worked!

lol I guess I tipped it off when I have my stir-fried-steamed veggies. I bake instead of fry most of the time. Haven't used refined oil for food for 4 years now!
I think it was Bethzaring, she taught me how to caramelized onions in a slow cooker, with enough time.
