I like using the foil, aluminum, cooking trays sold in the super market for making casserole type meals. No cleanup when done. But they don't "react" well with tomato sauce. In fact if you have left-overs for a few days you get holes eaten through from the sauce. Any way to prevent this? Do they make a none reactive foil type tray?

Wrap your stuff in parchment first, then place on disposable foil, then on cookie sheet for safety. Parchment and aluminum foil are both disposable. Another thing: buy your foil pans in Dollar Store. They're just as good and a hellava lot cheaper.

Hi Fred, and welcome to DC. :flowers:

For the cost of multiple disposable aluminum pans, you could buy an inexpensive pyrex casserole dish to make your meals in, and tomato it up all you want. :) If you soak the dish in hot soapy water when you're done, they clean up very easily.

Line tomato/acid pans with parchment paper.
