Hi everybody!! I am assuming a crockpotted rotisserie chicken recipe is a chicken prepared to be rotissered, but put in a crock pot instead. I have used this recipe for years and it is delicious. Smear chicken with butter and sprinkle on a mix of: 2 t. kosher salt, 1 t. smoked paprika, 1 t. onion powder, 1 t. garlic powder, 1 t. Italian seasoning, 1 t. freshly ground black pepper and 1 T. brown sugar. It is put in the crockpot raw and cooked on high for 4 to 5 hours. It is not stuffed.
The bird pictured is on it's back and almost finished cooking. It is sitting on a bed of 1 inch cubed yellow potatoes.
