What are your favorites?

I've been making this Hot Christmas Punch for many years. I first posted the recipe in a Club Cookbook back in 1988. It's made without alcohol so that kids can enjoy it and adults can spike their own mugs.

Hot Christmas Punch

24 oz. frozen apple concentrate
12 oz. frozen orange concentrate
3 qt. water
1/3 cup Grenadine syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp. whole cloves
4 tsp. whole allspice
3 cinnamon sticks, broken

Simmer ingredients in a large covered pot on low for 1/2 hr. Let stand with lid on for at least 2 hrs. Reheat, strain spices through a colander and serve hot. It's beautiful served in a clear coffee carafe for a party. A crockpot also works well for serving.

Individual mugs can be spiked with *Rum*, *Bourbon*, or *Brandy*.

Happy Holidays..

I love to make apple cider sangria in the fall and winter. I use this recipe as a base and add Calvados (apple brandy) and cinnamon schnapps till it tastes good to me. So good.

This picture is the mid-day snack I made for Thanksgiving in 2015. I always need a little break and some food in between the cooking tasks that day.

Ive infused liquor for all my relatives this year....

But for our Christmas dinner, the cocktail we are serving is a raspberry and blueberry infused vodka with a hit of fresh lime juice and topped with prosecco.
