does ground chicken breast taste the same as ground turkey breast?

Ever had roasted turkey and roasted chicken? The difference is the same with ground.

must be more 'irony' taste for the turkey breast. this is at least my way of describing it. a taste charactized with more iron mineral..

That's sort of how I was going to describe it - like it has more blood in it. And regular ground turkey has even more of the flavor, since it's mostly dark meat.

You can certainly try switching out each for the other to see how you like the dish with the different protein.

It definitely tastes different. I love turkey but I'm not fond of ground turkey. I only use ground chicken in 1 way: stuffed hot peppers with herbs and cheese. Otherwise I prefer both birds not ground as the main protein of a meal instead of ground and used as a substitute for ground beef or pork. I do understand it's healthier to use turkey or chicken but...

Ground chicken tastes like chicken. Ground turkey tastes like turkey. If you can't tell the difference between them, then yes, they taste the same.

i dont know about the price difference. i guess turkey cheaper.
but today ive made the same recipe with chicken breast and i think the turkey breast was much better..... richer..
