Kathleen had a coworker bring her some oysters so we had those as an appetizer.

Stuffed spaghetti squash with red and sweet onions, garlic, red bell, carrots, green and gold zucchini, asparagus, broccoli and fresh basil. Homemade marinara and fresh moz on top.

I make the Chowning's Tavern recipe for "Welsh Rabbit with Beer" about once a decade. Tonight was the night. I like adding some bacon - as if the cheese sauce wasn't enough to clog our arteries. We did have it on 12-grain bread and salads on the side, so we weren't all bad.

The only store in town which carried my favorite brand of linguisa, decided to stop carrying it. :neutral: They brought in another brand so I made linguisa sandwiches to try it out.

Not impressed so, I guess linguisa is off our cooking list.

Thankfully, the last of my peach pie was delicious so, dinner wasn't a complete loss.
