Rearing my ugly head for the first time in awhile. :lol::rofl::lol: I'm about to put a pork loin roast in the oven. We will have that with applesauce, peas, and maybe some hashed browns. The hashed browns are frozen - I fell last night at WalMart and am pretty sore, so I'm taking it easy today...

Amen! My mom could stretch food with the best of them! I learned that from her and stretch a lot of things with tomatoes, white sauce, etc.

We always called it chipped beef on toast. I didn't learn the other name for it until I was a teenager (still call it chipped beef on toast). My mom always added chopped hard boiled eggs to hers. We probably had it at least three or four times a year. It was quick to make, and it was comfort...

Same here! The small jars were our juice glasses and the larger ones were our regular drinking glasses. For those who don't know, they were made to be used that way later--no threads on the top. I like your idea of using ham and peas. :yum:

I guess I'm arrogant. :lol: I do not believe in life on other planets. As far as UFO's, it means Unidentified Flying Object, so I do believe people have seen things they could not identify flying in the air. I don't believe in spacecraft from other planets or galaxies though.

I just found out a good friend's son-in-law and his family live in Moore. She said that fortunately they just got a little damage from flying debris. Such a horrible thing. I have been praying for the people affected by this tornado from the beginning and will continue. So many families torn...

Probably! As we all know, empty boxes are cat magnets! We had a cat who would get in any box lying around. If it was too small to fit into, she would put as much of herself into the box as she could. :biggrin:
