    Get Some of This

Yea, I have to say that I have never been sorry for things I have purchased on you all's say so. That Thermapen...I regretted pulling the trigger on that. $o expen$ive BUT once I used it and found no more dried out grill meat...well I was a convert. Caring for the grill

What dledmo said. Yea, I just let the grill warm up for about 10 min. Then take a brass brush to the grate. The stuff that comes off is like soot. There are some stickies around the rest of the grill but that does not bother anything. Every once in a while, I make sure I look at the grates...

    Surprise BBQ Gadget Gift

As a follow up, I was ashamed of myself for spending as much as I did on that Thermapen (even if I did get the grey one, which everyone knows is the most accurate). HOWEVER, last night I fixed a filet migon roast on the grill and would have been mortified if I had overdone it. Thanks to the...

    People of Wal-Mart

I will see if I can find it. It was a couple of years ago and was actually on my buddy's Facebook page! I think she may have taken it down though. If I can retrieve it I will let you know. Some people will do anything to be famous! :)))

Scary and small world: one of my acquaintances was featured in TPOWM. She actually deserved it. :)))

A Surprisingly Great Place To Get Rack Of Lamb

Yes, I hear that Costco is excellent. Alas, I don't have one as near me as Sam's BUT I am not complaining too loud. :)

A Surprisingly Great Place To Get Rack Of Lamb

I have been a member of Sam's Club for about a million years and always stayed away from the meat counter. I was a fan of the local butcher and that was that. Alas, the local guy closed up shop and I took a look at what Sam's had to offer. You probably know all about their beef and pork but I...

Mee 2. Why do I read these things? I was perfectly happy with my cheap, slow, inaccurate probe.

Picture heavy...First meal on new grill

Small world! I have a CharBroil, got it assembled (amazingly enough). I didn't get as good a price as you got (you stole yours I think)! Mine is a 2 burner TruInfrared. I love it. It's my first grill, and I am thoroughly into grilling now. You did a GREAT job for your first time grilling. You...

Picture heavy...First meal on new grill

That all looks wonderful! Grilled peaches are so good! What kind of a grill is it? When did you get it and what do you like about it? Very curious...I think I know how that meal tasted---great.

    Cleaning Up After Grilling Out

In the summer I do go in and out a lot: the cooking sequence, someone else comes out to talk while I am cooking, normal comings and goings. Summer. I hope I won't be coming and going so much in the winter.

    Cleaning Up After Grilling Out

One of the unwanted side effects of having an outdoor grill is that I go in and out of my kitchen 300% more than I used to. That means I track in a lot more debris than I used to as well. With winter coming on I can see that I am going to have to find something to clean up my trail without too...

    Patty Pan Squashes Are Great!

We went to the Farmers' Market this weekend and they had a lot of patty pan squashes. I was feeling adventurous and so I bought a bunch of them (and zucchini and yellow squashes, too). We cut, brushed with salad dressing (a great kind called Garlic Expressions which is local to Ohio) and...

    Winter Grilling??

To revive things a bit...is there anything you have to think of in terms of your LP tank? Or any other constraints? I live in Ohio and it can get pretty cold there if it is fated to do that (one Xmas Eve it was -25 deg. F) . I want to grill all year long, what do I need to know about winter...
