    Extended Camp/RV trip

    My wife and I decided a year ago to do and extended RV trip to Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores Alabama. A year ago because this place is so popular. reservations a year in advance is suggested. We will be here from March 1st to April 5th. Here is some pics of cooks from my Akorn Jr.

    We took our new RV to Gulf State Park and are staying here a month and a week. I fired up my Akorn Jr and did steaks the other nite. Our camp site I paint rocks and hide them for folks in the area to find. Fun hobby. Did some canvas panel painting too.

    I did a brisket overnight on my Akorn. I put it on last night at 10 pm and took it at 10 am this morning. I used my steak marinade on it.     I did a low and slow cook for the first time in a while. Getting back into it after back surgery. I did a corned beef brisket into pastrami and a Boston butt. We will eat sometime today.
