    What's in your refrigerator?

I never knew it was a big thing like that - in the midwest it gets looked over more than brussel sprouts do.

    Defrosting a Freezer

I used 4 beach-sized towels.. wasn't too bad at all. I hope I don't have to do it again for a year.

    Spice Storage

I use these: Magnetic Spice Tin - Bed Bath & Beyond I've got them all up one side of my refrigerator. I write on them with dry erase markers so I know what's going on - one of my best investments yet.

    Dishwasher

Somewhat off subject but the other day we received these in the mail :Amazon.com: Tide Stain Release Duo Pac In-Wash Booster Twin Pack, 34-count Bag [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging]: Health & Personal Care as it turns out they don't go in the dishwasher like I thought.. my wife thought it...

    Defrosting a Freezer

I finally got to it. Used two pots of hot water and ran a blow dryer for about 15 minutes. It was all said and done in under an hour. Thanks for the tips!

    What's in your refrigerator?

Is there such thing as a "good" recipe for spam?

    I finally caught it!

I didn't eat him. It's a retention pond that the community keeps up on but there's still too many contaminants in the water that would scare me away from eating fish from it. I'm a catch-and-release kind of guy any way. The pond is a no swimming pond. It gets to about 17 feet in the center...

    I finally caught it!

We moved into this neighborhood right at 2 months ago from Tennessee. I've only ever fished in TN and the pond that's behind our house now is stocked with bass, catfish, and carp. Since day two of living here I've been fishing the pond and haven't caught a thing save for a couple blue gill...

    How about fish tacos?

We were traveling and were in Tennessee when I saw that on the menu so I doubt that it was the "whitefish" that you mentioned.. but I could be wrong.

I get it now. Simple and effective - the way it should be. Once again, good job!

    What's in your refrigerator?

It's just my wife and I so we don't keep much in there but she's a ketchup fiend.

    What's in your refrigerator?

I thought of a new game as I was peering into my refrigerator last night. I love looking at user's photos and MTV Cribs has made everyone think that what's actually in your fridge is important. So, take a photo of your refrigerator, upload it, and tell us about some stuff that's in it. How about...

    Steak Marinade Recipes?

Same thing here. When the cuts that we like go on sale we buy about 5 - 7 lbs and properly freeze it. Steak is a nice weekly dinner.

    ISO Italian Salad Dressing Recipe

I like the sound of that, p.a.g, and I think I'll add it to my list to make. It is hard around my home to find fresh herbs, I usually have to drive 20+ miles to get to some and that's not a drive I like to make.

    How about fish tacos?

Wow. Way bigger response than I expected. I think I might need to check outwith my grocer on what fish is fresh ( I live in the midwest - most fish here is not fresh). Then I think I'll try the salt, lemon, and EVOO for a couple and onion, peppers, and cumin for some others. I think that's a...

I just built an Ugly Drum Smoker (UDS)

I've been looking at this for a little while now.. how did you do that bottom vent? Did you cut your own sheet metal and bolt it on? I'm kind of confused

    Steak Marinade Recipes?

Towards the beginning of the thread there are a couple marinade recipes. Marinading a steak is fun because you can take what you know to be a great steak and turn it into something that compliments the other dishes that are served with it. Don't get me wrong - I'm a purist at heart, but a...

    How about fish tacos?

I've never had them and I almost tried them yesterday but the menu had them listed as "tacos with white fish" rather than telling me what the fish actually was. So, what is white fish? Furthermore, how do you guys do your fish tacos? I'd really like to try it but I have "zero to none" in the...

    Bagel Sandwich

I love using bagels in place of bread for sandwiches and burgers. My all-time favorite will always be a toasted and buttered bagel, poached egg, and some ham and cheese - breakfast of champions!

    Yogurt Varieties

I can't stand Greek yogurt by itself but it definitely has its culinary use and there is no good substitute. As for eating plain, I'll stick with my sugar-free vanilla yogurt..

The Burger of the Future WITH recipe and video!!!

I do like to see the use of that "meat glue" for a purpose other than making a fake steak. I'll skip the ketchup center and opt for some cheese. Jucy Lucy all the way!
