Looking for induction compatible cookware recommendation

We just moved into a new house with an induction stove top. My wife bought some cuisinart DS induction ready cookware that was on clearance at bed bath and beyond. I returned them. One of the pans caused a weird buzzing noise on the burners and the big pot would never bring water to a boil...

I think the recipe was for pulled pork but I used it on brisket and it turned out great? I know this may be a long show but anyone know a good recipe like...

How much meat should I cook?

My son's 1st birthday party is at the end of the month. My wife has about 30 people invited. I'm planning on smoking spares and either pulled pork or brisket. I'm leaning towards the pork since that is usually more forgiving than the beef, and I dont want to ruin it for everyone. So, how...

Why is it bad to put knives in the dishwasher?

Why is it bad to put knives in the dishwasher? I've been putting my Wusthoff knives in the dish washer for a while now, I'm not sure if I see any difference. The chef knife needs sharpening but I'm thinking thats because I use it 85% of the time over the other knives.

Chicken broth - my first try

I tried making chicken broth for the first time the other day. I used a recipe I found online. It's been in the fridge now for a day and I skimmed out all the fat on the surface. But the broth appears to be a little cloudy or have some kind of particles suspended in it. I did strain it all...

    WSM waterpan

I remember reading something a while back about using a Brinkman water pan over the stock water pan that comes with the WSM. I cant seem to find that post now. Anyhow, I went out and bought a Brinkman water pan and its too small. It's not wide enough to fit on the brackets in the WSM. Does...
