When I was a kid my favorite cookbook was the Charlie Brown Cookbook. My mom would make "Lucy's Lemon Squares" for me. I wish I could find a copy of it because I would love to have one. I also remember coming home from school and I would pull out the Joy of Cooking and make pancakes.

Roasting a honey brined turkey breast for dinner from Wegmans. Probably will saute some green beans with mushrooms and garlic...and some mashed potatoes and gravy.

We are from Northern California. I went to college in Sacramento. I've been to squeeze inn...It is small!!! Burgers are ok. Great pics from Tahoe...We spent lots of time in truckee, skiing, and on the north and south shores. LOVE LOVE LOVE tahoe!

The coffee urn is such a great piece. I got a pretty good deal on it. The retail price was over $600...but it was on sale at Macys and my hubby opened an account and got 20% off....so it was in the $400 range. It is worth every penny!! It keeps my apple cider nice and toasty :smile:

I pretty much do most of my shopping at Wegman's, Whole Foods, and Costco. I go to Trader Joes occasionally (their meat is hit or miss). We have other chains in Northern Virginia like Giant, Bloom (Food Lion), and Safeway. Safeway is ok...I hate Giant and Food Lion. We have some warehouse type...

I don't know what to make for dinner. I am going to put some chicken in the electric pressure cooker and make some chicken salad out of it for sandwiches this week to take to work. I guess I will use the pressure cooker because the chicken is still currently frozen. :chef:

I love my Williams Sonoma Gold Touch...they are great. They have loaf pans, cake pans, and many other styles. I bake bread in my loaf pans...You can get them cheaper at their outlet stores.

I picked up my All-Clad slow cooker about 6 months ago at Home Goods for $50.
