    Emeril Green

    Now showing on the Green Network (which we just got out of nowhere) is Chef Emeril being calm and really helpful to people with specific food issues. Made in conjunction with Whole Foods Markets. It's quite refreshing seeing him be a real chef. 8pm repeated at midnight edt.

    Cutting grease

    People swear by Dawn power dissolver. However, I can't buy it anywhere? Why? Is it deadly? Has it dissolved people? On the Ace Hardware website people are lamenting not being able to find it in their stores. Seems maybe I can buy it by the case? !!! So who knows anything?

    Fennel seed

    Fennel seed is one of the main flavors of sweet Italian sausage. Crushed in a mortar and pestle or ground it gives great flavor to pork chops with garlic and red wine, roasts (much the same) and of course pasta sauce. It is a natural sweetener for acidic tomatoes and adds great flavor.

    new Wolf DF366

    I am in my new home, surrounded by unpacked boxes of books cds whatevers, but...the Wolf dual fuel 36" 6 burner range is in place and has already fed many folks (with my help). The appliance guys arrived at 10 and left at 3...did a real fine job of installation.
