I love all the trees too. They block out so much noise & give us a lot of privacy. The first meal I cooked was spaghetti & meatballs, garlic bread, salad, & we had hot fudge brownie sundaes for dessert. It was a simple meal, but we were still unpacking my kitchen stuff. Thank you both!!

Thanks! Shannon, that bathtub is beyond great!! The only thing it's missing is jets but I'm going to get one of those spa mat things for it.

Savannah wanted Chinese last night so we took the kids & a friend of theirs out. Hubby & I split Singapore rice noodle, Savannah had sweet & sour chicken & a spring roll, TC & their friend split shrimp LoMein.

OK, small change of plans. Savannah's chocolate cake will be 2 layers, but I'm only baking one & I'll cut it in half. I didn't have enough flour to make 2 cakes. BTW, I posted the recipe in cakes, it's the one bowl chocolate cake.

Currently it's 45 & foggy, the high today is supposed to be 65. I'm loving the weather since we moved, it's been in the mid to upper 60's every day. I had to laugh this morning when the weather man said we had cold weather moving in Wednesday & that the high for that day would only be 53!!

I'm baking a 2 layer chocolate cake with strawberry whipped cream icing for Savannah's birthday. Yesterday I baked 2 dozen chocolate cupcakes with cream cheese icing for her to take to school today.

Hubby decided to take us out last night. Savannah's been begging to go to Macaroni Grill, so that's where we went. I had mushroom ravioli & for dessert, hubby & I shared the dessert ravioli. It was deep fried pastry filled with chocolate & peanuts, topped with vanilla ice cream & caramel.

Oatmeal with blueberries & cream, a piece of toast, & coffee.

The kids & I watched until the moon was completely covered. By then it was after 10 & the kids were way beyond sleepy. It was amazing & beautiful though!! Also, did anyone else see the triangle the moon made with Saturn & the star Regulus (sp?)?
