Early dinner tonight! We have a big day tomorrow so going to go to bed sooner than usual. Made DELICIOUS devilled sausages, mash & veggies! What have you made this evening? :chef::pig:

Chicken cooked in broth with garlic and ginger. Rice with ginger, sweet onion and garlic, and the chicken broth used to cook the chicken. Hothouse cucumber slices and cilantro as garnishes. Broth to finish the meal. Sauce with Thai yellow bean sauce, chili-garlic sauce, tamari, rice vinegar, sugar, garlic, ginger, scallions over my chicken. Craig used it for his rice as well.

I don't remember the TV show we saw this on but it featured a Thai restaurant and this was their signature dish.

I cooked up cumin potatoes with lots of parsley, and then dried them off in the oven for 50 minutes at 350 deg F. We had them with green beans. Beans and potatoes, yum.

We're planning on having cold smoked salmon bagels with cream cheese. We will also be trying a new-to-us cold smoked, rainbow trout in cream cheese spread.
The salmon was delicious, as expected. The smoked trout spread was pretty good. It's pricey and not really worth it. I was right to wait until it was on special to try it. If that company's cold smoked rainbow trout (not in a spread) goes on special, I might buy it. I didn't bother with pictures. You all know what lox on a bagel with a schmear looks like. The trout spread was pale pink with some green bits of chives. Not worth the effort to take pix.
