The "You Can't See Me" nose I posted? This was my wubble six months earlier...

And showing off...Cadie asks for cookies at the local pet shop:

Is that one very hairy dog or more than one doggo?
Sigh, it is a "serious fault" in her breed to have so much hair. So, she cannot go into the Conformation Ring. On the other paw, her sister is a finished AKC Champion. That said, Cadie is a wonderful pet...and I don't have to feel guilty for not showing and/or breeding her! Stanley named her, even before we got her...long story...Cadie means "very best friend, ever!" And, she is to Stan and to us too.

This sweet girl has been hovering close by ever since I got home 😍
How sweet! The first time my wubble was separated from me due to an emergency hospital stay, a friend's brother - who she'd never seen - looked after her. He has a male Shih Tzu [wubble is spayed] and even though my friend took her night crate round there, she ended up sleeping with the Shih Tzu, both cuddled together in his bed.

When my friend brought her home, she looked at me as if to say "can't I go back and stay with my new boyfriend?"

I do hope you are feeling better now, GG :flowers:

Hee hee, adorable!

I'm doing better every day. Next up is self-directed physical therapy to get stronger.

I'm so glad to hear that you are doing better! As for laughing at the wubble's reaction - it's a good thing she adores my friend, as he will adopt her should anything happen to me. She's also stayed with him [during another emergency hospital stay], so she also happy with his family. It's very reassuring to know that arrangements are in place for her.

Happy Birthday Tikva!

Have a good day of running around in joyful circles - throw in a few barks, just to emphasise. Mummy just may help you blow out all those candles or you could turn around, back up and just wag your tail real hard at them - that should do the job. Mind you, don't back up too far and singe your tail!

Hugs and pats, Tikva, it's your day!:sorcerer::flowers::wub:

Tikva says thank you and I say she's barked enough already today! Actually I don't think it's her real birthday because when I first saw her they said the puppies were three-weeks old, which would have made it the 12th May, but no way were these pups three-weeks old yet.

PUPPIES.jpg

Three days after I saw them, and took that photo - it was "come and get your puppy now" with the unspoken "or else".

That white thing at the bottom left? It's a plastic clothespin [clothespeg in UK English]. They were in a small laundry basket that had been lined with an old blanket, held on by clothespins. That shows how tiny those eight puppies were.

A feral cat sneaked into my husband's workshop and gave birth to her kittens. My hard-hearted husband came into the house, got an old towel and a bowl of water and took it to the workshop. His next stop was the grocery to get a bag of cat food.
We have one of the kittens, Timi, as our indoor/outdoor cat. Shots, flea repellent medicine, spayed, and has her "spots" for relaxing inside and out.
And before you ask, no we do not spoil her, nor any other pet we've ever had.

Timi is so beautiful - and thank you for having had her spayed. Tikva, and the two girls I had before her, were all the result of un-spayed bitches, and the two kitties I had were also rescued ferals - and of course I had all my girls spayed. There are far too many unwanted dogs and cats.

Tikva would like to know what "spoil" means. I am a very mean fur-mom as I don't believe in treats - mind you, my kids always said I was a mean mummy as they didn't get sweets and stuff like most other children!

Phaedra, Timi is spoiled because she has us wrapped around her paws! She comes in and out as she wants, sleeps on her pink towel on the living room floor, and we feed her the best cat food.
Treats are different flavored cat treats from a trusted pet food company (no recalls, no complaints, and has been in business for years). Timi gets a few treats each morning when she expects (demands) them and that's it for the day. No "human food" and no more treats until the next morning. We do coddle our pets, but also do the very best for them that we can.
