Someone at the hospital told my BIL that his mum was well enough to have visitors today. He's off to see her. We'll find out what that means when he gets back home and emails DH. Ottawa is a 100 km drive from Cornwall.
 
Waiting with bated breath for a positive response from the owners of the condo that we just love to rent for a month at a time back home in Hawaii!
The State and all counties have lifted the previous restrictions in Hawaii as of the middle of December. The airfare is reasonable, a rental car is a bit spendy, but we're optimistic.
Food costs will be be more than double what we budget for here in Cowboyville AZ, but this trip is for our 30th wedding anniversary, something special.
And we haven't been home since 2019.
Time to start getting bathing suit ready!!!! :LOL:

We just heard back from the condo owners ... we've got it!!! :clap:
 
A you may remember, SO an I were ill over the Christmas holiday and had to postpone our usual celebration with my daughters and grandson. The celebration was rescheduled for tomorrow. As a result, I have been busy preparing a full Christmas dinner yesterday, today and tomorrow.

That's so nice, where did they go? Oahu, Maui, Kauai or to watch the TWO volcanoes has blowing their tops on the Big Island aka Hawaii Island.
We had been debating for awhile now as to how to celebrate our 30th and in my mind, I kept coming back around to - where we married? Oahu!

DH has been died set against ever flying in an airplane again ... well ... we haven't bought our tickets yet, we're going to wait and see what the restrictions are in a month or so ... none right now, but the State and all of the County's have a history over the past coupla years of changing their policies frequently!
