Pie-eyed

I`m an old guy who grew up in the country long before there was an internet...even a telephone in our neck of the woods! It takes me a while to learn how to navigate a new website or figure out how to reply, post, or sometimes just get into it, even if I`ve done it twice or three times! Being an old guy, I`m retired having been a teacher in my younger days, a mom and pop (pop and pop in our case) business owner, and even a rural mail carrier in my last few working years. My husband and I have been together for 43 years and I enjoy cooking for him and for friends and relatives which have become scarce with the passage of time and its inevitable toll on us all. I hope to expand my cooking horizons here and maybe even be helpful to someone along the way too.

I love to cook and baking is my favorite part of that. I`ve been known to visit a casino or two.
