I can say I'm a food lover and I always was, but perhaps I didn't know it because I was surrounded by fantastic amateur cooks.

I've been a lucky guy because my grandmother was an excellent cook, and so my mum is. They have made delicious Spanish dishes all the time, including superb paella and rice dishes. My mum masters unknown rice dishes like one with pork, red pepper, and saffron, another one with beans and saffron that you mix with a vinaigrette or this regional stuffed peppers with rice and pork meat. Yummy.

And then, if I hadn't enough, my father learnt how to make paella and one day he started nailing firewood paellas such as seafood paellas, meat paella or paella Valenciana. I didn't need to cook because I was more than well served.

However, when I left my parents I missed this cooking badly. Then, I had to learn in order to eat these marvellous dishes as often I wanted. It wasn't that difficult because I already had learnt how to cook paella and Spanish rice dishes
