BBQ sauces i have right now...

I recently purchased some blues hog and did the 50/50 with beef broth thing for brisket...I will not be going back to kroger brand or anythin else that smells like acrid liquid smoke(Rempe brainwashed me) Just a note: the blues hog product itself is actually economically priced...it was the $5...

    UDS part search

I am currently rockin 2 grates and no water pan with a weber kettle lid modified to fit the top of the drum. No problems here with the two grates!(and a lot easier than constructing drum #2 to get 1 more grate)

Wow...takin the ugly out of that drum! I have been studying up a storm, but I think I will get to do some smokin this weekend. I want to try a brisket, but I think capacity is a problem if you try to do a whole packer. Anyone have any experience with whole briskets or a bone-in pork butt?

Pulled pork cook time in a UDS

I posted this on the UDS forum, but here it is again: I did 4 a few weeks ago on a single uds and it took 12 hours at 235ish degrees. I could have fit more, I put em in cold before it came up to temp...I think you are good if you are going to do this overnight anyway. I think i pulled mine...

2 weekends ago I did 4 at once with some room to spare (I have 2 weber 22" racks in there). I think I could have done 6. It took 12 hours at 235 to get mine to pull. Took them to 190, then let em rest for 2 hours while I did other stuff. By the way, here are the pics I owe: thing worked...

    New to the Game

Or you could do it the hard way: grind/wire brush it after burning the crud out, then BBQ paint the outside, then regrease the inside. I wouldn't do it(ok I might), but it is another option to entertain. Check when you burn it for signifiant air leakage. This is the problem with our new...
