Using a Nutribullet to make nut butter

I looked and didn’t find one that is new. I did, however, find this model on Amazon. Does anyone know how it compares in functionality to their DLC-2 Mini Prep? Cuisinart DLC-1 Mini-Prep Food Processor, White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00000JGRP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_hrD5Cb315A5VR

Using a Nutribullet to make nut butter

Thanks! I’m a little reluctant to get a used one. I wonder why they stopped making this model. Seems much sturdier than the Cuisinart Mini Prep.

Using a Nutribullet to make nut butter

How much peanut butter do you make at a time? I think my 7 cup is too big for one cup of nut butter. It’s also a pain to clean for making small batches at a time.

Using a Nutribullet to make nut butter

Has anyone here successfully made nut butter in a Nutribullet? I’d like to find an alternative to my 7 cup Cuisinart food processor for making small amounts of almond butter. I tried the Cuisinart 3 cup and ended up returning it because the plastic work bowl came loose when grinding certain...

ISO small pot for cooking rice

CD, thanks for helping to simplify this! The All-Clad sauce pan you have sounds like a great multi-tasker. I saw this Tranontina Tri-Ply 1.5 quart sauce pan on Bed Bath’s website. What do you think? http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/product/tramontina-reg-gourmet-tri-ply-clad-saucepan/3262922

ISO small pot for cooking rice

I was thinking about getting a rice cooker but the Japanese brands are large and extremely pricey. If I could find a good quality rice cooker with a ceramic insert that isn’t too large, I’d consider it. I don’t need an 8 or 10 cup size.

ISO small pot for cooking rice

Thanks Andy. Did your All-Clad come with a lid? If so, is it glass or stainless?

ISO small pot for cooking rice

What are the features needed for cooking white rice well? I don’t think my Cuisinart Chef’s Classic saucepan did the best job with it.

ISO small pot for cooking rice

That saucepan looks amazing and is very well priced! Is the bottom reasonably heavy as needed for sushi rice?

ISO small pot for cooking rice

Thanks Andy! I have a 1.5 quart stainless steel Cuisinart, but I don’t know if the bottom is heavy enough to make sushi rice. Is there a way to tell? What kind of rice have do you make in the All-Clad?

ISO small pot for cooking rice

That’s the perfect size for my needs! Did the sauce pan come with a lid or did you have to buy the lid separately?

ISO small pot for cooking rice

I’m looking for a small pot with a secure lid (and no steam holes) for making rice. I don’t need anything bigger than a 2 quart pot at this time. I’m especially interested in trying to make sushi rice, but I plan to cook other types of rice as well. Please share your suggestions!

ISO best peanut butter for cookies

I’m glad you shared your reaction to the Whole Foods 365 brand. IMO it’s not the same quality as Smuckers and is definitely overrated! I’m returning it to the store.
