    KA Vintage Grinder Attachment Advice

Thanks for the site, it looks perfect, now I just need to measure the die plates and figure out what size I need. I can't wait to try it out, the plates I have now are fine but I figure I may need other grind sizes, and I want to get some sausage stuffing tubes for it too. Thanks again for the...

    KA Vintage Grinder Attachment Advice

Hello All, I haven't posted in a while but I have been lurking around. I had a question and I thought some of you fine folks might be able to point me in the right direction. I obtained a aluminum bodied grander attachment for the KA stand mixers. It is in great condition, has its wooden food...

    Ain't this a CROCK

I have been wanting for a while now to have one of the ceramicists I know make me one. I have been out of school and have not had a chance to talk to any of them about it. If you know anyone in the local University art department they may be able to broker a deal with one of the potters to make...

    Your job

Degree in Studio Art: Sculpture Jeweler (well Assistant Jeweler/Watch Repairman) by trade. I also make and sell small sculptures and art jewelry on the side. I worked at Radioshack for a few years so I still putter in little electronic things, circuitbending and the like.

Weird Eating Quirks You Won't (or at Least Rarely) Admit to

That reminded me, this is not all the time, but if I have the time to sit there and I am using ketchup out of the packet, I will take each fry and run a line of ketchup down it, like a like of caulk, before eating it and moving on to the next. Did this in front of my FIL a couple of years ago...

Weird Eating Quirks You Won't (or at Least Rarely) Admit to

I do that too. Lets see. When eating Lasagna, at home anyhow, I eat any cheese or sauce off the top, scrape the noodle clean with my fork, lift it off the ricotta, lay it down on the plate, slice it into pieces and eat those, then I eat the layer of ricotta, then repeat. When eating...

    Cheesemaking

I'm interested in making cheese, mozzarella specifically, but I don't have any recipes. Does anyone want to share some TNT recipes, or maybe a link or two that they found useful, I did a bit of googling and came up with several results, the most promising being CHEESEFORUM.ORG Cheese Making...

Guess what this is a photo of!

I know, but I have banned myself from guessing, as I have proven to be bad at being the picture provider. I just saw one of these demonstrated not that long ago, and I was just mentioning it to my DW yesterday, funny coincidence.

Help finding info/history on antique locket

May we see a picture of the inside open? I am a jeweler, though I do not specialize in vintage, I do have several books at home. I will take a look and see if I can find anything for you. There are no markings or hallmarks beyond "3 5", and those are hand written? Like a said a pic of the inside...
