I don't understand why you want to learn Korean? I live in the middle of Little Saigon in San Diego, but I have no desire to relearn Vietnamese. In fact, the only Vietnamese I can remember after 50 some years is "di di mau" and "bookoo" which is the bastardized version of beaucoup.
