    ISO Corning Ware "Visions" cookware

    Visions Visions was originally made by Corning however World Kitchen bought the company out in 1998 and the pans were called Visions until 12/31/2007 and then they were discontinued. Hope this information helps. They are looking to reintroduce these items in late 2008.

    I actually have this set of knives and they are great. The only thing they recommend now is that you hand wash and hand dry as dishwasher can cause them to rust.

    All Corningware is now made of stoneware and is mainly used now for baking and reheating foods.. And most of the Pyrex incidents you read about are all due to misuse of the pan. Pyrex can go from a freezer to a pre heated oven.

    Revere has a copper clad line on sale for $99.99. They also have a tri-ply set as well. Which are great if you have a smooth top stove as well.
